Position Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Field Application Engineer (FAE) to join our team in the semiconductor industry. As an FAE, you will play a critical role in supporting our customers by providing technical expertise, resolving application issues, and ensuring successful integration of our products into their designs. You will serve as a technical liaison between our company’s engineering and sales teams and our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary technical point of contact for customers, providing expertise in [specific semiconductor product or technology, e.g., power semiconductors, microcontrollers, etc.].
- Understand customer requirements and propose suitable technical solutions, ensuring alignment with product capabilities.
- Assist customers in product evaluation, design-in, and troubleshooting, ensuring successful implementation and deployment.
- Conduct product demonstrations, technical presentations, and training sessions for customers and partners.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, including R&D, sales, and marketing, to address customer needs and contribute to product development.
- Provide feedback to the product development team based on customer input and market trends.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including application notes, datasheets, and design guides.
- Support the sales team in pre-sales and post-sales activities to achieve business objectives.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor products, and technological advancements to maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, preferably in Pre Sales Engineer or an FAE or similar customer-facing technical role.
- Strong knowledge of [specific technologies, such as analog/digital circuits, power electronics, embedded systems, etc.].
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites as required (travel percentage: 30~50%.)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience working with [specific applications or industries, e.g., automotive, industrial, IoT].
- Familiarity with [specific software or hardware tools, such as SPICE, MATLAB, or PCB layout software].
